As an institution of higher learning, the École Normale de Musique de Paris is accustomed to receiving donations from individuals and organizations.
Cercle des Mécènes
The Cercle des Mécènes of the École Normale de Musique de Paris was created in 2012. Its objective is to reunite the people who are interested in contributing to the work we do at the École Normale de Musique de Paris. The members of the Cercle benefit from certain privileges and invitations to private events.
Become a member of the Cercle des Mécènes : All donors, organizations or individuals, can be welcomed into the Cercle des Mécènes at a minimum contribution of 2 000 euros.
Three categories of members, with corresponding levels of donation :
• Mécène : from 2 000 to 4 000 euros
• Mécène Bienfaiteur : from 4 000 to 10 000 euros
• Mécène Prestige : from 10 000 to 50 000 euros
• Grand Mécène : from partir to 50 000 euros
Taxe incentive : The French law of the August 1st, 2003 relating to the “mécénat” declared the following:

| Donations are directly deductable: • From ISF (Impôt de Solidarité sur la Fortune) up to 75% of any amount less than 50,000 € per year.• From Impôt sur le Revenu (IRPP) – 66% of the donation may be deducted from 20% of an individual’s taxable income. 66% of any donation in excess of 20% of an individual’s income may be deducted across any combination of the five following years. |
• 60% of the amount of the donation may be deducted from the « impôt sur les sociétés (IS) » within 0.5% of the organization’s revenue. 60% of any donation in surplus of 0.5% of the organization’s revenue may be deducted across any combination of the five following years. |

Thanks to your financial support, we could
• Offer more scholarships to young students based on their merit, level and financial situation
• Enhance our teaching by opening new classes, increasing the depth in our curriculums and acquiring more pianos.
• Develop programs of professional insertion : organization of auditions, master classes and concerts, participation in productions and festivals in France and abroad, recording of student CDs and DVDs, etc.
• Continue our restoration efforts on our historical building by maintaining classrooms, vestiges from the « Belle Époque » and the Salle Cortot.
